We're here for an edition of, I guess you could call this old movie club.

Steve Lutz isn't here to actually say,

Oh, a movie club. But it is, it's a movie from 1983, so it's not super old. And this came up

because the gentleman who usually brings us the old movies, Philip Michaels, was on

Twitter talking about how he thinks that the right stuff from 1983 was an underappreciated film.

Is that right, Phil? Did I do that accurately?

That is correct. It's not the best film of the 1980s because that's a decade that Raging Bull came out in, depending on how you want to start counting your 1980s and your amadeus. But I think right stuff is easily one of the, if not top five, top 10 movies of the

1980s.

And you never hear about it.

You never really hear people guessing on about it.

And I guess that changes tonight.

That's right.

Now we're going to put it right by talking about this classic based on the book by Tom Wolfe

about test pilots at the beginning of the space age. So in addition to Mr. Philip Michaels,
