Welcome back, everybody, to The Incomparable, a podcast that is the, I think technically, the largest podcast on the internet when you count panelists instead of listeners we are here live in

Anaheim at the now hear this podcast festival and I have an amazing panel of nine people to

introduce to you today now I'm also here is an episode, rather than force everybody on the panel to

watch a movie or a TV show or read a book that they didn't want to read, I wanted to make

this as expansive as possible.

So we're going to do a draft.

We love drafting things.

If you're not familiar with the concept of drafting, everybody gets to pick something in order,

and if somebody picks it, then nobody else gets to pick it, and sometimes that can

be frustrating. But what we do is draft ridiculous things. So in this episode, we're going to be

drafting supervillains and or monsters. Now, if you've listened to our Saturday Night Live,

panel draft, cast draft, whatever we call that, sure, cast draft. What we did at the beginning

was give everybody Phil Hartman. Everybody got a Phil Hartman on their team and that they could

fill in the rest of it. And I want to do that today too. So for the Supervillain Monster Draft,

everybody gets Lex Friedman. I don't want him. Can I reject my Lex?

You can if you want, but now I'm going to introduce to you my panelists and ask them Lex Friedman,

super villain or monster.

I think that Lex Friedman is a super villain because yesterday at at Rosco's, I saw him make a knife disappear, and supervillains often have magical powers. So super villain for sure. All right.
