Hi, I'm Olympian Carrie Tullifson and welcome to the C-Tolly Run podcast. I am so excited to bring to the show Anna Roar. Anna's been a great runner since she started running and I've been a fan of her since then. She won five national championships including two foot locker national championships in high school. She was an eight-time All-American at Notre Dame, and she even made

1:28.7

her way to the professional world of running. Off and on, Anna has suffered some pretty serious

1:33.2

injuries, so a few years ago, she decided to walk away from the sport, taking her health into her own

1:38.6

hands. Recently, she's returned back to the sport, and she's figured out a way to stay healthy

1:43.4

and get back to her

1:44.5

racing ways. In this episode, we hear all about her comeback, that tough time with her injuries,

1:49.9

her time away and what she did there, coaching, starting a business, her future goals, and how

1:55.0

life is different now than it was just a few years ago. We also talk about her 2023 Boston Marathon where she was the first woman

2:03.0

in the masses behind the elite race, but she did finish 22nd overall in a new PB of 2.3052. Believe me,

2:11.8

next time, she'll be starting with the elites. Also, a little update. In the episode, we talk about

2:16.4

her getting ready to run a race.

2:17.9

Well, she just won that race.
