THE SOLO Everyone loves a quitter! No, really. When you’re working at a job you hate, it is so energizing to quit at the right time and in the right way. This week, Krista talks about the good — how she messed up first quitting experience — and the bad — the time she quit in order to go full-time with Almost 30. She shares what both experiences were like, how she prepared (or didn’t), how she actually knew she was ready the second time, and what happened behind the scenes. She helps demystify the signs that can give you perspective on whether you should quit your job and the steps that she took to quit responsibly and set herself up for success after quitting. We also talk about: Looking at yourself + your reasons for wanting to quit Quitting unsuccessfully Buying into the “all-in” mentality Going back to the corporate world Realizing how unhappy you are in the moment Being realistic about your life situation Making an escape plan Recognizing the signs that it’s time to leave Find more to love at almost30podcast.com!
