From the very beginnings of cellular to the digital revolution women have shaped the animated form.

As a matter of fact, the all femalefemale chemists in the Disney paint labs transformed the palette of the studio's early three-strip technology animation from 80 colors to 1,500 colors which transformed animated film.

Women brought about wonderful changes in story, ideas, direction,

and the Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney himself encouraged and developed women who've brought about the art form we know and love today.

Walt Disney was really looking to explore and push boundaries when it comes to animation.
