I'm very well. How about yourself? Nice to see you again. So you were just in Tuscany for like four months.

Well, I'm writing a book about Kianthi, and the reason I'm writing a book about Kianthi is because I visited the region

on a tour group with the consortio last October.

Honestly, I thought it was just going to be a nice week in Tuscany, why not go.

But I was really surprised how dated my view of Kyanti was. I drink a lot of Kyanti. I guess I really don't

keep up that much with the producers. I haven't given it the attention that it deserves.

But while I was there, I realized that my haven't given it the attention that it deserves.

Kyante was really, circa 1995 2000,

and a tremendous change has occurred there.

There are many changes that have occurred there.

It really just piqued my interest.

And I came back to the states after that visit

and wanted to read about all the changes, but there was no book. The first thought was

I'm going to go back and ask people about these changes and as I was planning my trip I said

I should be writing all this down there's no book there's no

resource so that's the germ of the the book because a lot of times with Italian

wine it seems like the literature's out of date.
