(4:15) - Josh quote: "Be tolerant with others but strict with yourself."

(11:08) - Client shoutout: Justis
(14:28) - Question 1- I work really long work days (12 hours), and I find it hard to get motivation to go the gym and stay on top of my diet, what would you recommend I do?
(20:22) Question 2 - I am the furtherest thing form a morning person, but I feel like it's the best time of day to get my workouts done. What tips do you have to help me be accountable and actually do workouts in the morning? -
(24:47) - Question 3- Good morning! I am a higher jumper student athlete and my coach is always commenting about how I need to have abs. I take coaches advice seriously and I have tried so many things including extra and workouts, changing my diet, and even looking to get off of my birth control to see if it’s a hormonal thing but have had no success.  I was wondering there was anything else you recommended so I am able to make more progress in this area.
Thanks for listening! We genuinely appreciate every single one of you listening.

What is going on, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all happy

0:05.9

podcast. As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with his co-host and co-coach KG and I'm on

0:12.7

the mic. And welcome to another episode of Motivation Monday where we answer all of your questions.

0:18.7

You know, we have some real talks about life, fitness and get fired up for the week. So this is a place to be. We're glad you're here, tuned in and listening. And as always, we're going to start it off with some killer quotes. I'm going to let Kyle go first here. So I just realized I need to chug my Starbucks drink because it's 12 p.m. And I always say I don't drink caffeine past 12. So I'm living on the edge

0:38.7

right now. I'm just going to be chugging that. So that way I always say, you know, don't drink

0:42.5

caffeine about 10 hours before bed. And I firmly believe it. But right now I'm breaking my rule.

0:46.8

And I'm super fired up. So my quote for this week is if you could kick the person in the pants

0:52.8

responsible for most of your trouble,

0:56.1

you wouldn't sit for a month. And this was from Theodore Roosevelt. And I just thought this

1:00.5

was so awesome because we always go back. Like I always hear different versions of this like,

1:04.2

you know, don't be the victim and like things don't happen to, but they happen because of you.

1:09.2

And these are things that we've lived by for the past like seven years now. I guess you could say ever since we started hearing it. But I thought it was a really unique way to pretty much say that you're always responsible for everything. And even myself, like, I'm known as like Josh calls me the, the grandino. So I can get like, so my last name is grand. And anytime we used to play pool I'd always get super lucky

1:27.8

I'd get lucky for so many things when I when I enter somewhere like a competition when I go to

1:33.0

the casino when I go to pit a pool shot I always get super lucky but I always get super unlucky so even

1:38.8

this past week I decided to jump off a bridge and cliff and, you know, kept my Apple watch on and it fell

1:44.9

off right away. And it's like, there were so many things that I just like sat there. I was like,

1:48.0

man, you know, I was distracted because of this person or because of this and I was taking care of that person. But at the end of the day, it always comes back to you and, or I guess in this case me and it's a good reminder that you know just things don't happen to you they happen because of

2:00.4

you and it's always good to be accountable for that yeah there's one motivation video i love watching i try to

2:06.6

i pretty much watch it every monday on the way to the gym it's just being one that has continually

2:11.1

uh you know left me really fired up and motivated and it's just will smith um interestingly enough

2:17.0

like he's a great speaker. You know,

2:18.8

he's the last guy I would kind of think of when I think of speakers, but it was just absolutely
