Today we're going to be talking about filling the void that alcohol leaves, because I think that's a really good word because it does feel like that at the beginning.

It comes wrapped up very prettily in a gift-wrapped present called sobriety.

And you open it up and out pops hours and hours and hours of time that you have never really known how to fill except by drinking and thinking about drinking and recovering

from what you drank. And for some people, that can be an awful lot of time. You know,

let's take the average person who's alcohol dependent is probably, or she is probably

thinking about drinking at about three o'clock in the afternoon, and that gets them through

the end of the working day, and then they start their drinking as soon as they get home,

or maybe even on the way home, on the train journey or whatever, and as they get home or maybe even on the way home on the train journey or

whatever and then they get home and they do their bottle of wine because everybody does a bottle

of wine in the evening it's nothing wrong with that that's what everybody does we all you know

nothing that's not excessive sometimes we have a bottle and a half but a bottle in it but we still get

up for work in the morning so it's not we still get up for work in the morning, so it's not a problem.
