and a research associate in the Department of Astrophysics

at the American Museum of Natural History.

Since 2006, he has hosted the TV show, Nova Science Now on PBS,

and has been a frequent guest on the Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Jeopardy.

Discover magazine rated him one of the 50 Best Brains in Science.

Time magazine voted him one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and People magazine

rated him the sexiest astrophysicist alive.

His most recent books are Death by Black Hole and

other cosmic quandaries and the Pluto files the rise and fall of America's favorite

planet. It doesn't it make you sad that no one ever votes on who's the the sexiest science fiction

writer or editor on the planet I mean we just get shafted on that all the time I

mean they voted the the sexiest astrophysicist alive, really?

Come on, we can, surely some science fiction writer should get some love or something.

But I guess if people want to, you know, vote for the sexiest science fiction writer, they can, you post the comment on their on our episode.
