This level of stalking, it is not something that just goes away. This person is so, it's so ingrained in that we don't really ever see rehabilitation. And that has always just stuck with me.

I'm Jamie Beebe. And I'm Jake Deptula. On today's episode of Strictly Stock and we're speaking with Josie,

who was stalked by a man who first appeared in her life is just a regular customer. After he

found her personal email and began sending her explicit photos, Josie set a clear boundary. That's when

the stalking began. He used his wealth and resources to harass her by car, online, and through the mail, sending

disturbing cutout images of Josie and her friends. He also created fake accounts, including

one using a photo of her father's home, where her father died in a house fire.

Then he escalated it even further, flying over her home, circling it, and even throwing

tomatoes from his plane onto her house and car. The

breaking point came when he threatened Josie's daughter. There were arrests, protective orders,

and eventually the FBI who tracked him across states before he flew back and circled her home again

in violation of that order. Today, Josie is here to share her story. Thank you so much for having me.

What would you like to share about your life?

I was born and raised in upstate New York in a small town.

I graduated and moved across country and then continued to move and graduated from the University of Colorado and got a great paying job back home.

And then I decided to quit my entire life and start a cafe in my small hometown.

My daughter was five at the time.

So just being home with her was a necessity to be able to watch her grow up. So I bought

a cafe rehabbed it and bought a food truck all in the same week. And I just started to build my business.

And unfortunately, at that time is when my dad tragically passed away in a house fire.

And from that moment forward, kind of there was a trajectory of things that happened.
