Ever the optimizer can sometimes be a curse and if you are an ever optimizer, you sometimes need to learn to just stop.

Maybe don't shave off that extra little bit of, you know, expenses. Maybe don't tweak that investment portfolio again for

the bajillionth time because your O. C. D. Maybe recognize the law of diminishing returns and just back off a little bit and go for a walk.

You got to be careful when you get into the budgeting scene,

when you get really into it, you have to be be I didn't mean to say one of our

competitors names but actually more on that later anyway if you're really

into the budgeting thing you can fall into the trap of just wanting to squeeze.

And if you're doing it well and you're seeing results, you just want to keep going and

keep going.

So if you've gotten the grocery bill from 1200 down to 800

because you're just being more aware and all that stuff.

1200 was inflated, 800 you got down pretty easily, then you're thinking,

oh, 600.

You know, pretty soon you're eating rice and beans and nobody's having any fun,

if you don't know what I'm saying.

So what we're talking about here is a point of,

I don't want to say status quo,

because I still want you to make progress.

But I want you to be making progress at a sustainable rate.

A nice pace.
