And our film review this week, our film

review is Primate. Primate

was released in 2026.

It has 5.8 out of 10 on IMDB and 78% on rotten tomatoes. Friends find

themselves fighting for their lives when a rabid chimpanzee goes on a violent rampage. And I mean,

if ever there was a synopsis of a film that gave everything away about the film. That is it, because that is

pretty much all the substance that there is this film. Right, we're going to do likes first,

okay? To be honest, there wasn't that much that I liked about this film. And it, it wasn't because it was a

bad film. As such, it just wasn't for me. One of the things that I did like was that the setting

was beautiful. It was set in Hawaii and it was very much a kind of like young college students,

devil make hair, let's party kind of vibe. It was very aesthetically pleasing. They're in this

big beautiful house set into a cliff, which is obviously

incredibly dangerous then when you're isolated with a rabid chimpanzee. But aesthetically, it looked

very nice. Also, it is definitely intense from start to finish. So if you're looking for intensity,

then this film is it. You know, you're going to be, you're looking for intensity, then this film is it.
