From the Catholic Encyclopedia article on the subject: “in the strictest sense, i.e. as identifying God and the world, Pantheism is simply Atheism [St. Pius X discusses this in Pascendi]. 1:35.2	is divine. Everything is divine, including humans. And that's how pagan idolatrous religions work and they make idols usually in the form of animals or humans
