Is everyone okay?

2025 starting out in a little bit of a crisis mode across the country, across the world. And I didn't record an episode last week because of said crises here at home. I thought I would just turn on the

microphone and share a little bit about what's been happening here, my thoughts about things that are happening elsewhere,

and just maybe hopefully help commiserate with you on if you're feeling a little bit like things are

already out of whack as we jump into this new year, you're not alone and there's time for things to

turn around and there's time to recover and to

rebuild and all of that might take time. It's okay if you're not okay. I want to start with a

beautiful poem that I read this afternoon on Instagram from a poet who has been battling cancer for years and is

just such a beautiful artist and has a really tender-hearted way of sharing the
