single day. And our film review this week, our film review is Lee Cronin's The Mummy. Lee Cronin's

The Mummy was released in 26. It has 6.4 out of 10 on IMDB and 47% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she has returned to them, as what should be a

joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare. And do you know what the actual living nightmare of this was,

sitting through what felt like four hours of this film? Right. No, Emma, don't, right,

let's do this property. Okay, I'm not just going to rant about how awful it was. We're going to,

we're going to talk about it properly. And look, right. Lee Cronin previously directed Evil Dead Rise, right?

And if you know Evil Dead Rise, you know that it's kind of comedic, blood, gory, body

horror, lots of blood, lots of crazy shit happening, right?

He also directed a much more thoughtful film called The Hole in the Ground, which I have to say I liked, all right?

And I kind of hoped that we would get the latter.

We did not.

We got a gross out possession film instead.

And I knew going in there was a possibility of a blood-soaked gore fest, right?

I knew that, but I just wasn't very happy about it. I did enjoy the setup for

this film, so you have this family that are living in Cairo, the little girl goes missing. There was a
