Okay, we made it to the end of April. Ah, that's how I feel. We're here. May simber is upon us.

No, I really am excited for May.

But for April, I'm really glad to be ending right here on play. I feel like we all need a little bit more play in our lives. I know I do.

I think that play is easy to talk about and conceptualize, but hard to actually protect and plan for.

We give it the last slot on the calendar a lot of time, the last little bit of energy we have at the end of the day, the leftover margins of a week that have already been filled up with

everything else. And I want to gently push back on that today.

I think God made us to play.

I don't think play is a reward for finishing your work.

I don't think it's a luxury for people with more free time than you.

Play is necessary.

It is part of how we were made.
