I'm like, what is the context? I don't even know. I've been hearing and we've even gotten emails about this topic. For a while now, I feel like the last week, it's been like steadily coming in about this

rainbow pottery drama. And then I was like, who could be mad at rainbow pottery? I mean, come on. A lot of people. It's, yeah. Turns out it's not about the pottery. I was going to say it's not about the pottery itself. There are some like weird situations going on with the pottery place, but I don't even know how to lead into

this. But basically, it is this place, Rainbow's Pottery Studio, and it's in Boston. And it's in

like a busy place in Boston where like, I guess there's often like a lot of students walking

around and a lot of women that are walking down like it's Newberry Street. I'm not familiar

with Boston. I've never been. So there's this pottery studio. And while there are some complaints about like their pricing and like

her being the owner who's her name's Allison, her having allegedly some kind of scammy behaviors,

the main thing that we're talking about is one of their, I guess, supposedly, allegedly, former employees. A lot of people have kind of said that they don't think it's a former employee and that, like, he was still employed up until very recently. But the owner claims that she fired him a long time ago. I guess we should start probably with the beginning where it was this. I don't even know if this was the beginning because I think there's even more. It's a lot of people have come out and talked about this. But one of the original stories that came out was from this girl, Bren, and she shares her experience going to the pottery studio. This pottery bowl cost me about $250 at Rainbow's Pottery Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. And I'm making this TikTok just to warn other people about the people that own this pottery studio. So, first of all, a bowl like this, now that I've been to other pottery studios in Boston, it's going to cost you maybe $40 to $60. Because I was a walk-in after I painted it, I sketched it and painted it. I love it. It's beautiful. After I made it, I went to check out and they were like, oh, that's going to be about $140. And I was like, oh, okay. And up until this point, the owner, the woman who owns the place, had been talking to me constantly. At one point, she invited me to karaoke. And I was like, oh, I was like, I met you a couple minutes ago she's very eccentric fun

people you would think purportedly maybe that is how they are I don't know but what I don't like

is what followed after okay she then proceeds to tell me how her dog is dying of cancer like

full sob story to the point that I'm crying if you follow me you know that I love dogs right

no secret here so I did give her I think an extra $60 $70 tip I didn't need to pay

250 but still around 150 is astronomical it is it also is cracking which is

maybe part for the course with pottery okay their shop by the way by the way, is on Newbury Street. So anyway, I felt weird about it. I left. I didn't want to go back and get the bowl. I did. I walked in tunnel vision, grab the bowl and left. A couple months later, my friends and I were talking about going to do pottery. And for whatever reason, I knew this place was kind of off. I'd also seen TikToks about them, and I made my own. You can see me making this bowl.
