| 0:17.7 | You know, me and Kyle are just so excited for this episode. We're actually doing it before the gym. That's how excited we were to do it because these are 10 things that have been very transformative for our lives as well as for our clients. And we really can't wait to share these with you because we want to help everyone optimize, level up their life and realize their full potential. So I'm really excited to jump into it. Let's get right into number one. And this is something I think there's no better way to start with than the first thing of the day. When you wake up, you know, don't hit that snooze. Don't look at your phone. Take some time for yourself. Let yourself kind of warm up and wake up to the world. It's a lot going from sleeping to jumping right into it, right? If you think |
| 0:54.7 | about it, going from being dead asleep to waking up and, you know, having people prying for your attention with your email, your text, your ins, whatever, you don't want any of that. You know, give 15 minutes for yourself. For me, I like to wake up. I like to just do a quick little stretch out lift my arms you know typical I like to look out the window get some sunlight on my |
| 1:12.3 | skin truck a big glass of water then I draw like to just do a quick little stretch out lift my arms you know typical i like to look out the window |
| 1:11.2 | get some sunlight on my skin chug a big glass of water then i drive right into my journal and i just do a |
| 1:17.5 | brain drain i just write down everything that's on my head and then i'll spend a little bit of time reading |
| 1:22.2 | and it sounds like a million things but this truly is only 10 15 minutes but by taking some time for myself first, I'm able to help others more. I'm able to kind of adapt and wake up intelligently. And this has been something that has been game changing for me. And I find it will change your mood or it will change your level of productivity. And by starting with the strong start to the day, you just feel amazing. Yeah, 100% and, you know, once you take care of |
| 1:44.4 | yourself, I find it so much easier to take care of everybody else, you know, whether it's work, family, other obligations and whatnot. And, you know, once again, it doesn't have to be, you know, sometimes my morning routine for myself is anywhere between an hour or two, but, you know, and some days vary you know if it's just a really tight schedule it might be 15 minutes and you know if you |
| 2:03.6 | don't have crazy amounts of time, just even something for yourself will make you feel way better for the rest of your day. And that's going to bring me into number two, something I absolutely live by. And recently I showed all of my clients this, the calendar that I use I personally like using |
| 2:17.8 | Google Calendar because it's like very attractive looking you can do different categories, |
| 2:22.5 | different colors, kind of just make it your own thing and make it reoccurring every single |
| 2:26.4 | week for a lot of the consistent stuff but the day that I started using this like sometimes |
| 2:30.6 | I'll have a conversation with someone and you know someone who maybe doesn't use a calendar I'm like oh my gosh like I don't even know how you know how you're able to do it and you know I'm not poking fun at you if you don't use it but the day that you start using one of these things like I truly believe your life can be changed and you know because mine mine was changed I planning uh every single sunday for about 30 minutes |
| 2:51.9 | kind of a lot of it's reoccurring but then i'll be able to look at my week i can be proactive |
| 2:55.6 | instead of reactive i know when my workouts are going uh taking place my cardio when i'm seeing |
| 3:00.5 | friends when i'm seeing family um you know when we're filming podcasts like all that great stuff so |
| 3:05.3 | using a calendar and planning is one of the most important things |
| 3:08.3 | you can use a pen and paper if that works best for you just doing that will simply transform your |
| 3:12.6 | life in my opinion in an instant number three even though i already mentioned it with my brain |
| 3:17.8 | drain uh you can add on to that by adding in the daily gratitude and this is something i do i make |
