And then you choose who you're going to marry, how many kids you have, pets, cars, I can't remember.

There were many, many permutations of the game, but Mash stood for mansion, apartment, shack, or house.

And based on how you counted and how things played out for you,

you could land in a mansion, apartment, shack, or house,

along with the love of your life,

that girl from fourth grade, maybe that guy from fourth grade.

At any rate, we are back from Manhattan.

We've been back for a little bit, week or two.

And we walked into the house, same house

we'd been living in for a year and a half,

the house that's slightly smaller than our former house,

just slightly. And we walked into that house and my

kids reaction was hilarious but also something I had expected. They said the house was huge.

And as I walked through it, hearing my feet echo slightly,

I realized that our perspectives had shifted and they will likely shift back and by

likely I mean very very certainly they will shift back but we lived in a 1,100 square foot apartment in Manhattan

paid through the nose for it even though it was super tiny and for Manhattan standards

not that tiny at all apparently but we live there all eight of us and we made it work actually it was surprisingly
