Hello, Winebbers, my name is Jesse Meekham and this is podcast number 311 for

Wineb, where we teach you four rules to help you stop living paycheck to paycheck, get out of debt and save more money.

The episode 311 couldn't help but title it aptly, and I did. If you're all mixed up and you don't know what to do with

your budget with your money simplify. Simply. Don't do anything fancy. We tend to acquire accounts, categories, hangers-on of sorts,

as it relates to our finances. We just kind of leave a wake of things, a trail behind us of all these

financial add-ons and do-hickeys and whatever they're called and they end up just being

complex and we don't intend to with every or any one decision

but over time these decisions just kind of accumulated we have financial cruft and so it starts to cause confusion. We realize we're using four credit

cards and we shouldn't use any or maybe just one. If you're carrying any credit card

debt you shouldn't use a credit card because it's just too expensive. It's too expensive if you're having to

finance things that you'd buy with a credit card. Okay, tangent aside. You have these

four credit cards because this one was offering this and that one was offering that.

You've got three savings accounts and a checking account and who knows what else.

You've got 401k sitting somewhere, an old Roth IRA sitting somewhere else, another something

sitting somewhere else, and it's just all everywhere.

You've got transfers going into and out of things.

You've got a his and hers separate bank account

and that's been kind of tedious to maintain.

So when things are all mixed up,

just start to consolidate.

Just really try and focus on bringing it all together under one roof, under one budget as much as you can.

Consolidate your different 401k is from different employers.
