I have just gotten to this point where I've given myself so much grace and I just firmly stand

now in this no square pegs round hole with friends, with relationships with work. I am willing to work

for sure, but I want to work in a place and work on things that feel good. And life's too short for

anything else.

This conversation is a special one that I had out in Paris where I got interviewed by my girlfriend

and I call her my co-pilot Lauren Nemeroff. Lauren is a hurdler, first and foremost. She's also

the founder of a creative agency here in New York City, along with her

partner, Sean, called Flow State Creative. And we met almost three years ago now when she was a

photographer on a job that I was the host of for Strava. And she came up to me, introduced

herself, fast forward a few months. She applied to run on the LA

hurdler team for the marathon. And sadly, in that process of training, got injured. I asked her,

hey, would you rather come out as a photographer? She said yes. Fast forward another year. And Lauren had

left her full-time job doing something else to go head first

into this creative agency with her partner. And I am so blown away by not only all the work

that they've done, the clients that they've landed. And yeah, it's just remarkable. But in

today's episode, Lauren turns the mic on me, asks me a bunch of questions about the work that I was

doing in Paris, how I'm feeling right now, what I'm excited about moving forward, and so much more.
