My name is Tracy and last summer my family and I took a trip to England and the surrounding UK.

I mean last summer as in 2019 not 2020 obviously since COVID scrapped everyone's travel plans this year.

Just to clarify and avoid any confusion with my timeline.

I am from the Western United States and enjoy traveling. My family usually takes a holiday once a year together around the United States, but this year, 2019, we were going out of the country.

I used to go every year when I live with my parents,

but I am now 25 and married, living on our own.

However, we still get invited to go on family trips with them, and this is one of them that I was able to go for.

My parents very generously invited us along and offered to pay for our fares to the UK.

We gratefully accepted and aesthetically anticipated the adventure.

It has been a dream of my father's to return to England for a long time.

My father had lived there in England for a few years while working for the church growing up.
