On the basis of nature versus nurture, every story I research gives me insight into the concept.

The youngest two serial killers from the United States both hail from the Northeast.

It's as though they represent a case study from each side of the argument.

On the basis of Nature versus Nurture, let's first have a look at the unnervingly handsome

young serial killer, Harvey Miguel Robinson. Just knowing that his father,

Harvey Rodriguez Robinson, was also a killer almost makes learning of who he grew up to

be, not altogether surprising. Harvey Rodriguez Robinson, a married father of four, was a 32-year-old

jazz musician from Potstown, Pennsylvania. In 1963, while playing drums for a gig in York, Pennsylvania, the alcoholic

murdered his 27-year-old girlfriend, beating her beyond recognition.

He was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to 6 to 12 years.

released just over a decade after killing Marlene Perez, he married Barbara Brown and his son Harvey Miguel Robinson was born on December 6th, 1974.

Could Nature play a part?

As a school boy, Harvey Miguel was academically gifted and excelled at sports, but also through

tantrums and gave students a hard time.

He enjoyed intimidating those around him.

He traveled a well-worn family path through the juvenile justice system following in his

older half-brothers footsteps as a juvenile offender from the Lehigh County Courthouse to the Office of Juvenile Probation.

None of his crimes up until age 17 had been serious, but all of that changed on August 9, 1992.
