Hello. I am back. It does feel good to be back and talking to you.

I think I truly am a speaker or a communicator because if you give me a mic I will use it so I'm back on the mic this week to ease back into these weekly episodes.

As I was thinking about what might be the best episode to come back with, I honestly just

realized that I wanted to do a quick little chat about some of the things that I've realized during this little mini hiatus.

Next week I am coming back with guest episodes,

but this week just wanted to have a little one-on-one time with you to share some of the insights that I learned that I didn't

actually expect to. So jumping right into it, recognize how far you have come. I had a conversation with someone who is

going to be a guest on an upcoming week but I had my first intro call with him about six-ish months ago.

And it was in that conversation I actually shared with him that I was going to start a podcast and he thought it was great he said cool

but I actually felt like I wasn't sure if I wanted to because I didn't know how it would be perceived by any professional

endeavor that I went down. So if I ever worked for an employer and it wasn't

exactly aligned with podcasting. I thought, gosh, is this going to make me

look like I'm not a qualified candidate or a qualified person? Which actually sounds so funny now thinking back on that conversation but this guest

told me that no absolutely not it would just if anything only enhance myself and set me apart because it shows that I had an idea and I went with it.

And so the next time that I spoke to him was just a couple of weeks ago as I was interviewing him for the podcast and we

reflected on that moment because he remembers when I was asking him about the

podcast and now here I am interviewing him and having a conversation with him about all the things that he's up to and all of the knowledge that he has.

And I just didn't really realize how cool that is.
