In this episode, I'm going to talk about the incredible power in the classroom of being a dork.

So this is going to be another episode that I am pulling from an old blog post that I feel is really important.

But you know, it was from one of the earlier months of my blogs existence.

And I feel like it's an important message that I really want to get out there.

So I'm going to be reading that to you and talking about it in just a minute.

Now, if you click on that, which I'm going to do right now, I've got several categories of materials.

The one that I am probably the most proud of is my book called The Teacher's Guide to Tech.

And I wrote this a year ago, and I'm just getting ready to put out a new edition for 2016.

But I created this, and it's a PDF, it's an e-book, but it's not like a Kindle e-book, it's a very, very big PDF.

And the reason I created it was because I kept getting asked about tech tools, and I was starting to write blog posts about them, and I realized there's no way I'm ever going to be able to write about all the tools.

And I was also meeting a lot of people who just seemed to have big gaps in their knowledge about things.

Like if I would say I have a podcast, and they would look at me like, I don't want to admit that I don't know what a podcast is, so I'm just going to smile.

And I was picking up tricks along the way, and I was learning about tools, and I was starting to feel like I was learning more than a lot of other people I knew.

And I wanted to share it in a way that wasn't going to overwhelm people.

And so initially I was just going to put together a list of tools, and kind of just categorize them, and that just blossomed and blossomed into this PDF.
