We'll start with news of Voltsvagen.

As I mentioned yesterday, announcing their latest financial results,

saying they were down 12% in China for the first nine months of this year. Still very profitable,

by the way, but their pre-tax profits dropping from €5.8 billion to €2.4 billion,

down 60%, which again impacts the ability for them to invest in future EV models. It's a bit of a

perfect storm there at the minute, and they're

going to go through some pain with the unions and works council, with those three factories being

closed, and I'll get to another one in a moment. So tough times to get through. And again,

it's because of the kind of the weakness in China and the rising interest rates as well.

It's affecting not just them.

I talked about BMW last week, Mercedes-Benz last week. Ashton Martin don't even make EVs.

And they said that they're having massive problems because of the weakening China market.

Now, a new video posted online from the Scout Motors launch, which seemed to show PetMode on screen.

Yep, they've confirmed it to the Green Car Report's website. The Scout cars will come with your pet mode and camp mode and night mode as well.

And why not? Because the vehicles are three or four years away. So why not say they're going to come

with that? Because they're really good features like Tesla's dog mode and Rivian's pet comfort mode.
