Hello and welcome to 31 Days of Terror Day 26.

I have two spooky stories for you today and story number one comes from Jade.

My first two stories sent her around my mum, who has always been interested in the paranormal.

Although she's still not sure what she believes.

I'll start this first story by setting the scene a little bit.

The house I grew up in was built in the 1930s.

And we moved into the house when I was around 10 years old and my little brother was around 5.

It has the original fireplace still in the living room and the dining room,

with the original wooden floors and the original stained-colored glass front door.

The first day we moved in, my mum was upstairs in what would soon become hers and my dad's bedroom.

She was putting some boxes on the top of a wardrobe when a card fluttered down to her feet.
