Hello and welcome to 31 Days of Terror Day number 25.

I have two spooky stories for you today and story number one comes from Shannon.

I want to preface this story by saying that I've suffered from sleep paralysis before

and I do lucid dream most nights.

But this was not the same.

This was in 2017.

One night I fell asleep, same as on the other night and I started dreaming.

I was in a country kitchen with a strange man sitting at an old wooden table.

The kitchen really reminded me of an old traditional Irish farmhouse kitchen with a stable

door going out into the garden etc.

The man sitting in front of me was so familiar looking but I've never seen this man in

my life.

He was in his forties with mid length dark greasy hair wearing a dark blue plaid shirt.

In front of him was a big old book, more like a tomb.

He was talking to me but all I can remember him saying was, they'll be here soon and

you need to give them this book.

I was so confused I kept asking who would be here but he never answered me and we were

just sitting there in the dim light.

It was dark outside when I looked out the window.

I went to stand asking him who he was but suddenly a bright light lit up the kitchen through

the window.

He jumped up, grabbed by the shoulder and shoved the book into my hands.
