Today's episode is going to be focused on something that I think a lot of people are afraid of or feel like it's immediately a negative connotation.

But I don't think it is at all.

I think that's like Satan's twist on trying to keep us from thinking about this

or embracing it, and that is repentance.

What's funny is the word repentance, or actually the word repent,

is something that I have this funny association with that, I mean, probably most people

would think like, oh oh that's a funny thing

to think of but when my beloved dr. Terry passed away he was the OB that delivered our oldest

Annabel or Annie and um he was just so wonderful he's just this like really warm charismatic friendly man he was super tall

he was probably like he i swear he was taller than you like six five or six six just and just

full of life and kind of this like father figure kind of person to a lot of people and so when he

passed away i shared you know kind of my connection to him.

And then all these memories, people started flooding their, you know, the comments in this

Instagram post, the comment section with memories of him.

And there was a girl who talked about how she was supposed to be taking some like blood pressure

medication or something and that she was terrible about doing it.

Like she didn't want to take this medication.

And I think she was even like maybe on bed rest or something.

But she said the last thing that he said to her as he walked out of the appointment he looked at her he stopped and looked at her

and said repent and then he walked out and I think about that a lot because I think repentance

can sound like oh you're a bad person or this is super scary or this is some hugely intimidating

process but that image and it's funny because it's not even my own, but that memory that
