There was one night that I finally had enough of him following me around,

and I probably had a couple of beers in me.

And I stopped my pickup.

I got out of the truck, and he comes running up to me.

And I'm like, oh my God, I don't even like you anymore. You're not even a friend of mine anymore. You need to stop following me. You need to. And I just, I kind of lost it and I popped him. I gave him a punch in the face. I'm Jamie Beebe. And I'm Jake Deptula. On today's episode of Strictly Stock and we're speaking with Rhonda, who met her stalker at a local tavern. But she never dated him, never gave him her number, never had any kind of relationship with him. But that didn't matter to him because he decided she was his and has been hunting her ever since. For more than 30 years, Rhonda has lived with letters, threats, and sudden appearances. Every time she asked the police for help, they said the same thing.

No, he hasn't hurt you.

Until the day she fought back.

And instead of arresting him, they arrested her.

And what happened next sounds like something out of a movie.

A train, a near death, and a diamond ring.

But this isn't a movie.

Take us back to a time when you were out there, you were socializing, what were you looking

for in the bar scene?

My friends used to hang out at this really cool little tavern. They only served wine and beer.

Everybody knew everybody. It was just a quaint little place, a little tiny place, and we'd all meet after work.

And I wasn't looking for a boyfriend or anything. I had a boyfriend at the time. And this all started around 1990. I was 24 years old. I work in

construction. I work with a bunch of guys. I've always had a lot of friends. I'm friendly.
