This is actually something I learned a little bit about when I went to a school recently

where they had already noticed a really big rise in exclusions and of course there aren't

that many places that excluded children can go to so this report did spell out

that they think this is directly related to the impact of COVID.

Yeah, so to give a sense of the country as a whole, so about 3.5% of pupils in the UK

traditionally were suspended from school. But being suspended from school

correlates with or goes along with a lot of other things that can be very worrying in terms of poverty,

So just over 3% excluded from school generally,
