I know some people are in serious trouble and some even losing their lives, which is horrific in these winter storms.

So I hope that you are listening somewhere warm and dry and that you're okay.

And this is that time of year that if you can give a coat or a blanket or whatever to charities

or charities that help people who are on the streets, this might be a

nice time to do it. Thank you. Black History Month is here. I am recording this very late at night,

or actually I should say very early in the morning on February 4th. The month has just begun.

You know, jazz is a pretty good, pretty good theme song, theme music for Black History Month.

I happen to be listening to a guy named Corey Henry, an incredible keyboard player, a record called First Steps.

But Corey Henry's got a lot of music out there.

It's great. And music is great, right? Music dulls the pain.

So, I don't know. Let's get into it. You know what? I'm going to start off with good news.

You know, you guys know that lately I've been trying to, excuse me, trying to find some good news and I found some and I'm going to kick off Black History Month with, no, this isn't good news. You know what? This is great news.

Stacey Abrams and the Black Lives Matter movement have both been nominated for Nobel Peace Prizes.

Black Lives Matter was nominated by a guy, I'm probably going to say this name wrong, but Petter E-I-D-E-E-I-D-E from the Norwegian Parliament,

and he nominated it as a worldwide movement

versus racial injustice.

Lars Halt Brecken, also from Norwegian Parliament,

has nominated Stacey Abrams for boosting voter turnout

and fighting voter suppression.

And as a side bonus, right-wingers are really upset.
