Specifically episode number 306, this one is called Celeste Headley.

I believe it was she who said I can't say asshole on NPR, so she was kind of enjoying

herself saying it with us.

I laughed, you laughed, she laughed, and of course it's true.

You can't say that word on NPR, but apparently you can say that word on NPR.

Here we are.

Celeste Headley is somebody who I've wanted to meet and talk to now for nearly a year.

I stumbled across a TED talk that you'll hear me recommend repeatedly over the course of

our conversation, and I'm going to recommend it right now as well.

This is a woman who's really on a mission to help people have better conversations, to

help people who might disagree about any number of things, find a common ground, and enjoy

each other's company.

It just seemed to me then, as it seems to me today, that there's never been a more important

time, to figure that out.

I invited her on just to see where the conversation went.

Obviously, we talked about a lot of the stuff I wanted to discuss, but what I loved about

this, Chuck, is that we actually had a conversation in the course of talking about how to have
