In today's episode we meet some more characters in the story of Jesus's birth,

the Magi. They were unexpected visitors to a young Jewish family.

But we learned something so important

from their journey to worship the king.

Jesus came for everyone who looks for him.

Tis the season to be looking,

looking for the right gift, the right tie for grandpa, the right perfume for mom, the

right toy for the kid next door.

Tis the season to be looking.

Looking for Aunt Hazel's recipe, Uncle Tom's flight, your brother's car in the driveway, your

cousin's gift in the mall, a parking place in the mall, tis the season to be looking.

Store clerks can tell you a thousand times a day, they ask,

may I help you?

And our response is, oh, I'm just looking. We're lookers. That's us. What are you looking for? Not just in December, but in life. Once you find what you want, what will you

have? Once you find what you want, what will you have?

Christmas, in a sense, gives us a one month experience of our lifelong quest.
