Summary

We walk through Galatians 3:1–6 and confront how a church that began by the Spirit drifted toward rule-keeping. Abraham’s faith becomes our lens to see why righteousness is credited, not earned, and why the finished work of Jesus settles our standing with God. • Galatians 3:1–6 read and unpacked • why Paul calls the Galatians bewitched • faith versus works and the danger of adding • Abraham’s righteousness before the law • clarity on deconstruction and assurance • the gospel summarized from ...

Welcome back to The Daily Blade. As you know, in my time on the Daily Blade, I'm just walking

0:24.4

through the book of Galatians right now. We have made it to Galatians. Chapter 3, today

1:22.5

Are you so foolish? Having begun by the spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

1:29.5

Did you suffer so many things in vain if indeed it was in vain?

1:33.8

Does he who supplies the spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law

1:40.4

or by hearing with faith?

1:42.9

Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as

1:47.7

righteousness. Well, Paul is saying, he's asking these rhetorical questions, but the obvious answer is

1:53.3

we got saved, we received the spirit, we have been made righteous by our faith in Christ.

2:03.6

And so he says, who has bewitched you?
