You know I've talked a lot about how you should set spending limits for the holidays,

duh, because if you're spending money

money you should have some kind of a limit doesn't have to just be about the

holidays but what about what about setting limits for other things what about setting limits for the parties you promise to attend or the activities you promise to go to or the activities you promise to go to or the activities you promised to go to or the guests you promised to host or whatever it may be.

But around the holidays we tend to demand a lot of ourselves and sometimes that can be pretty overwhelming

sometimes it can take maybe take the Mary right out of Christmas I don't know I

was just thinking about that just because it's a very stressful time of year and it's also supposed to be very happy and

Joyful time of year and is there anything we could do that would kind of help us put some limits down,

help us navigate some of the stress-inducing things that come with the holidays?

So, instead of just establishing a budget, what if you also set up a budget

for the things you would promise to do, the events you would, you know know promise to attend or the things you would

take your kids to or whatever it may be just say you know what here are the things that

mean a lot to me around the holidays here are are the things that matter most. I'm going to make sure

those boxes are checked, absolutely. And I'm going to say no to a few other things. Maybe make my life

little easier, maybe help me enjoy

those boxes that I have checked. Just a thought for around the holidays as things really

start picking up steam.
