As much as teams want to separate and distance themselves from their parents,

they will need their moms and dads to help them achieve that independence.

A lot is happening when you think about it in the teen years.

School is more complicated, social relationships are more challenging, and hormone levels are increasing.

Then there's a major effect of ADHD and possibly comorbid conditions on all these situations.

A parent has his or her hands full

figuring out how best to support a team,

especially when the last thing he wants, the team wants,

it seems, is your support.
