I think the book came to me really in two ways. As a scientist and research psychologists

and having done about almost 30 years of research

and physical and mental health outcomes.

One of the things that consistently has stood out in my findings is the importance of social connection and our social networks

and our overall health and well-being.

To the opposite of that, loneliness and disconnection can have critical impacts on our overall

So I think that paired with the pandemic.
