small business ownership journey back in 1991 when I bought an existing franchise business with my

business partner. I kept my well-paying corporate sales job throughout the 90s though, while I grew

that business to three locations as a side hustle.

And since then, I've been part of over 10 different small businesses, including buying, selling,

and starting businesses from scratch. And over the past five years, I've also been helping

other people with starting their first small business and

operating and growing their existing businesses. I helped them achieve their dreams of

becoming their own boss and enjoying the freedoms that business ownership can provide us.

I launched the Howa Business Podcast, along with my co-hus David Begin, back in April of 2016,

and as I said, this is now our 300th episode.

And we release new episodes every week on Monday mornings, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
