Phone 2. The Black Phone 2 was released in 2025. It has 6.2 out of 10 on IMDB and 71% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Bad dreams haunt 15-year-old Gwen as she receives calls from the black phone

and sees disturbing visions of three boys being stoked at a winter camp.

Accompanied by her brother Finn, they head to the camp to solve the mystery only to confront

the grabber, a killer who's grown even more powerful in death. So before I collated this review,

I had to go back and like listen to my previous black phone review when I watched the first film.

And I was kind of like I kind of enjoyed the first film. And I couldn't remember very much of it, the, the first film. And I was kind of, like, I kind of enjoyed the first film.

And I couldn't remember very much of it, which probably isn't a great sign. But I did have,

like, similar things about Black Phone 2 that I enjoyed. So, for example, the exploration of the

relationship between Finn and Gwen and, and their relationship with their dad. So in the, of the relationship between Finn and Gwen and their relationship with their dad.

So in the in the previous film their dad is violent and abusive towards Finn and Gwen and their

relationship is difficult and there's a whole bullying storyline and and it's interesting to see how

that has developed over the the years that have passed.

Again, we've got characters that are nuanced. They're not just good or bad. So their dad is

desperately trying to atone for his previous violent behavior. He seems to have got his

shit together, stopped drinking, is now being a decent dad to the pair of them.
