A few buddies got together and said you should raise around and start a company and so I started

another ad company. It was kind of like this perfect fit at the moment. I raised a million dollars in a matter of

10 days I think, 10 maybe 14 days from guys like Gary Vainerchuck and and others.

Over 18 months built that business into something quite big and then told my investors

we were going to get out, we were going to sell the business,

told my team we're going to sell the business, and on the eve of the

acquisition of the business, I was filmed stumbling around drunken naked, throwing money in the

air in India on a vacation, and that ruined the business, ruined my perception of my identity, ruined my

relationships with the majority of my team and my investors, and forced me to take a pause. Hey it's Light Watkins and you're listening to this week's installment of

Maddie Mo has had quite the journey from a startup entrepreneur to a disgraced entrepreneur

to becoming quite literally the most famous artist that you've probably never heard of.

Maddie grew up all over the place he attended Stanford on a wrestling scholarship and

dreamt of becoming a wealthy tech entrepreneur, as do many of the young minds who attend Stanford.

And during college he interned at a magazine where he broke the boss's computer on the first day and then he had to work the rest of the year to pay it off.
