0:00.0 | Welcome back to Moode with Lornalizbeth. I'm Lornalizbeth and today I'm going to be doing a solo episode because I have been |
0:07.6 | slacking on the hashtag my mood section, which is my advice segment. So I posted to Instagram at Moode with Lornalizbeth. |
0:16.3 | If you're not following yet, you definitely should because we have a great flow going and we're going to be posting tons of |
0:21.5 | mood boosters and mood content that you guys can get all week long. So we are going to be doing an advice, Paloza, with first a small topic about honoring your feelings. |
0:32.2 | It's a topic that I feel is going to be really helpful before we jump into all the advice and it's just a good note throughout this quarantine experience. |
0:41.4 | So before we get into all of that, let's start off with my best mood and worst mood of the week. Per usual in quarantine, |
0:48.3 | it has been very hard to dissect my moods because it's a freaking roller coaster. I mean, every single day is different. There's great days, |
0:56.4 | there's horrible days and there's just those lulls in between. So I have to say my best mood is still the self-care because even though I'm going to be honest here, |
1:06.2 | I had a total cry fest last night. I think I'll get to that in my worst mood obviously. But I had a total cry fest. I was so exhausted. |
1:15.3 | I was reading my book and just my eyes were kind of starting to close and I still had that thought of like, wait, before I jump in bed, I should wash my face really quick and take care of it. |
1:26.9 | And it kind of was just a best mood in the way of those little moments throughout the week where I still prioritized myself and took care of myself because you don't want to let it all go. |
1:36.9 | Even though you might be having a ton of worst moods throughout the week, it's still nice to really take care of yourself so that when you're feeling low, |
1:44.7 | you don't look in the mirror or get in bed and just feel like total crap about yourself and like at your lowest low. |
1:51.7 | So even when things are tough, still prioritizing self-care is always the best mood. And I feel like I've been kind of doing that over the past couple of weeks, |
2:00.6 | really still taking care of my skin, doing great showers with exfoliation and shaving and moisturizing. |
2:07.6 | Like honestly, I haven't been one of those people that haven't shaved my legs all of quarantine, which I know a ton of people are doing. |
2:13.8 | But I don't know, I mean, getting in bed, I don't sleep with pants on, TMI if anyone was wondering. |
2:20.2 | I mean, actually, I do sometimes, but I hate when they ride up my legs, you know what I mean? |
2:24.0 | So I love to feel my clean sheets under the covers and when I feel my legs smooth against each other, it's just like a little incident mood booster because I'm like, |
2:31.8 | oh, I kind of have my shit together a little bit. |
2:33.9 | So those self-care moments are a total best mood. |
2:37.0 | My worst mood was like I was saying the cry fest. |
