Hello everyone and welcome back once again to I just want to talk about the Bible.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America

with my amazing,

beautiful, godly wife Lacey and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

So today we're going to be talking about something that we have touched on in previous episodes.

I will say right now that there's going to be some overlap between this episode and episodes

five and 12 of this podcast.

And so I'm not trying to reteach the material, but I am trying to deepen the material.

We're just going to revisit these subjects and just peel back in another layer.

And so it would be helpful perhaps to listen to episodes five and 12 in conjunction with this one if you have not already, but I'll do

my best just to also summarize things here. So having said that, what are we talking about today?

Well, we are talking about humility and the peril of pride, as the podcast episode name would imply.

Now, this is something that the Lord has really been, I think, doing in my life in recent weeks,

especially really a few weeks ago.

But just showing me how important humility is, how vital humility is, how dangerous

pride is, and unfortunately he, well, it's fortunate that I praise the Lord that he showed me

this, but it's unfortunate that it's there. He has allowed me to see that there

was more pride in my heart than I perhaps realized. So before we get into the actual, you know,

content, talk more about all that stuff, let's just do some kind of brief, very simple definitions

what these words mean. So I've got James 4.6 in front of me.

It says, but he gives more grace.

...
