Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

I'm glad that you're here.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America

with my amazing beautiful godly wife Lacey and our two

wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

So I hope that you guys all had a wonderful Christmas, a great time with your family.

If you're like me, then you're probably still recovering from having eaten too much.

But, you know, this is the last podcast of the year.

And so I want to set before you guys something just to consider as we move into 2022 as we

begin a new year. You know, new years are oftentimes times in which we make a bunch of really ambitious great goals that we have entirely

forgotten about by the time February rolls around.

But I want to set something in front of you to consider and make it a personal goal of yours

in 2022.

First though, let's look at a couple of quotes from two famous people, and these quotes seem

initially contradictory, but they both bring something really, really important to the table.

The first quote is from C.S. Lewis. He said, and I quote, I read in a periodical the other day

that the fundamental thing is how we think of God.

By God himself, it is not. How God thinks of us is not only more important, but infinitely more

important. Indeed, how we think of him is of no importance except insofar as it is related to how he

thinks of us. And that's the end of the quote and that is from his book
