Hello everyone, it's Tom here. F1 drivers are risk takers and history makers.

For more than 70 years, they've faced on the edge for the chance of glory.

F1 Glorious still as glorious as it was back in the 1950s and 60s, but thankfully,

the risk has reduced. Our sport is not risk free, but it's much safer now than in

its early years. On 30 days of Beyond the Grid day 3, we're going back to an era where drive to

survive had a totally different meaning, with Sir Jackie Stewart. Jackie is one of the greatest

racers of all time. He won three world titles and he's still in the top 10 for race wins.

Impressive when you consider that the last of his 27 victories was 50 years ago.

Jackie raced in Formula 1 from the mid 1960s to the early 70s. Then later, he scored a win

as boss of Stewart Grand Prix. He's in his 80s now, but he still adores the sport and I often

bump into him in the F1 paddock. The interview you're about to hear was recorded back in 2018.

Both the journey to his hotel in Mexico City and the chat itself were fantastic and memorable.

found out that to take the stress and the strain out of life, if you're living a fast life using

every possible opportunity you can to remove the hassle, makes a big, big difference and I'm lucky
