Now Formula One CEO Stefano Dominicali joins us on day 14.

2024 will see Formula One reach new heights with a record number of 24 races on the calendar.

The Chinese Grand Prix returns for the first time since 2019 and we'll go racing around

the streets of Las Vegas again in November.

When I caught up with Stefano last year, he explained the thinking behind the

2024 calendar.

What we want to do next year is 24 and I think 24 is the right number is the number that it's the one that is required over the market.

It's really, I would say, the right balance between that, between the complexity of the logistics

of the people that are working, but I would say this is the number on which we

should target to be stable for a long time.

Stephanie, you are a student of the history of this sport.

Just how important are those historical races for you?

I'm talking about Monza, Silverstone, Spa. Do they give context for the new races?

For sure it's very important that the historical races has their own personality.

And I'm laughing when I hear people that are saying, you know, for one is not respecting the historical places,

historical races, is absolutely the other way around. The word historic has a greater

responsibility, but historic cannot be seen as an old and out-of-fashioned place. This is not historical, is old.

And I think that what we want is to use

this incredible moment where formal one is growing

to make sure that every one is doing the right thing and that's it.

You know, it's a matter of understanding that the world is evolving.
