Summary

Hello, dear listener! Welcome back to the 30-day authenticity challenge.

On this podcast, I often talk about the importance of being authentic. Of being yourself in every situation, with every person.

So, during the course of these 30 days, we'll do the inner (and outer) work of becoming more authentic and expressing our true selves - without feeling like we need to hide who we are.

Episodes will go out daily until we complete the challenge.

Your task for today, DAY 7, is to write letters of forgiveness to classmates, school bullies, or teachers who negatively conditioned you to hide your authentic self (more specific guidelines given in the episode).

Yesterday on day six of the challenge, I asked you to write some forgiveness letters to the most important people

0:56.2

who came up in your reflections from days four and five. As you examined past situations and

1:04.8

experiences where you did not allow yourself to be authentic or where you feel someone else might have stifled you,

1:13.7

suppressed you, or did not support the expression of your true, genuine self.

1:21.4

I hope you were able to take some time to do that work and that the act of writing those letters was cathartic and helped you

release some stuck emotions or burdens that you've been carrying about all of this. Today for day

seven, we're going to continue the forgiveness work a little bit and extend it to another area of your life.

and becoming more fully aligned with your true self. So the first quote is as follows.

2:13.3

You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.

2:24.6

This is such an important truth to remember, because sometimes we try to make ourselves happy or complete by endlessly rearranging the circumstances of our lives, as Toli

2:38.6

says, by endlessly trying to change everything outside of ourselves. So change relationships,

2:46.5

change jobs, change houses and scenery, change your clothes, change maybe your hair or your makeup,

2:55.0

change your furniture or whatever else. And we believe or our egos believe that these changes

3:03.1

can somehow give us inner peace and wholeness and happiness. And sure, sometimes these changes
