This week, we are talking about the ways that God

speaks to us that maybe if we don't slow down enough to stop and listen, we might miss. Let's get

So we're talking about the way that God whispers this week. And of course, this comes from my newest book that's available at ascensionpress.com called Whisper, Finding God in the Every Day. And my whole book is on this theme about the ways that God whispers to us. And what I mean by that is the ways that God does, in fact, speak to us, but not in the ways

maybe that we expect, right? We hear from, you know, these stories of the great saints and people

who have stigmata or have visions of Jesus or Mary visits them, and that can seem kind of like

cool. Like, that's how I'd like God to speak to me.

Then I'd have no doubt what God's will is if he would just, you know, speak it to me from,

you know, a cloud in the sky with thunder or something. And yet that's not really how God

generally does speak to us. So we need to be more in tune to the ways that

God speaks to us because he truly does. And it's been my experience, especially at this stage in my

life, where things are a little bit calmer, quieter. So, you know, Dan and I had eight kids

inside of 12 years. So there were many chaotic times there. We still have kids at home, you know, Dan and I had eight kids inside of 12 years, so there were many chaotic times

there. We still have kids at home, of course, but life is quieter. I've got bigger kids. I've got

fewer things that are, you know, causing noise and distraction. I'm more able to plan my days

where I have some time where I can devote to quiet prayer. But that wasn't always

the case. And so part of why I wrote Whisper was because at this stage of my life, I'm beginning
