Welcome to the Laker Filmroom podcast, brought you by the Blue Wire Podcast Network. I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And today we're going to talk about 3 through 8 on the Lakers roster. Now, this portion of the roster, I kind of want to talk about why we're parsing it out the way that we are first and what three through eight is on a good team.

To me, so these are not the guys that you're giving the ball to at the end of the game.

They're not, you know, tie game with two minutes down the stretch and the players that you even run your offense through.

But they are core pieces.

You need them to get to that ultimate goal and you need that group to be good.

And I think there is a strong argument to be made that this place is where the Lakers roster is weakest in its most important spots, right? I bemoaned earlier

in the year our end of the bench, the 10 through 15 guys, a lot of those guys not being like

NBA caliber players and through the injuries, them not being able to step in. But in terms of

getting to where you want to go, those guys are way less important than those three through

eight. And we've had various three through eights over the course of a bunch of different
