I thought that was a really great question in Anga because I know that this has got to be something that many of our listeners have faced before.

Yeah, it's a popular question actually because trying to control your breath when you have the tendency to

hyperventilate when you're anxious is very difficult so my answer to that would

be done don't do breathing exercises when you're hyperventilating. If you want to do something very

gentle to calm your breath down, then focus on your out breath, which is a very similar thing

to when they say or has a very similar

effect to when they say breathe into a paper bag when you're hyperventilating so to just drop

your shoulders relax your jaw make sure your hands are on clench, just let your body go as

limp and relaxed as you can.

Don't try and breathe in, just when the next breath starts to go out, just push it out long and slow.

And might need to purse your lips and just sigh the breath out

and then pause and let your breathing continue doing its thing.
